This month is the first month that Sony will no longer be giving away free PS+ games on the PS3 and PS Vita, chopping the number of free games in March down to just two.
That's probably the smart move on Sony's part. The PS Vita has been a dead console walking for ages now, and if you haven't moved on from the PS3 to the PS4 you should probably do that---after all, the PS5 isn't that far off at this point and you're missing out on an incredible video game generation. (Or you could wait a couple years for some smokin' deals when the PS5 comes out and the PS4 gets its price slashed.)

First up we have Witness from game designer Jonathan Blow,a gorgeous puzzle game that will make your jaw drop and your brain hurt all at once. Here's the trailer:
I recommend playing Witness with friends who can help you solve the game's increasingly challenging puzzles. Despite it being a single-player game, it's still more fun to play with companions.
The game scored an 87% on Metacritic.
Second, we have a completely different game in almost every single conceivable way except for the fact that it's also in first-person: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
I love this game and the remaster (while controversial at the time of release) was excellent. I still think this game has the best campaign of any modern Call of Duty, and I keep hoping that somehow Activision and Infinity Ward can recreate that magic. Capturing lightning in a bottle isn't easy, of course, but I think with the right priorities they could make it happen.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered scored 83% on Metacritic, shaving percentage points off the original release's 92% thanks to Activision's controversial release decisions.
